The talks I wish of been had with me as a child.... I really wish I had been told as a sexual assault victim that I had no blame or shame to carry. I also wish that as a teen I had an open line of communication with my parents to discuss controlling partners and how to leave a toxic relationship. So many missed opportunities! That is why I openly share as much as I can, I can't turn back the clock on my own experiences but I can hopefully reach someone in time for them to make the best decision possible.
